The firm, originally Bumford Walter & Johnson started in the mid-1950’s in Hobart.

They had a second office in this building (Glenorchy).

In 1993, part of the practice including the name (Bumford Walter & Johnson) was sold to Warren Ross at Glenorchy.

In 1997, Stuart Lenthall joined with Warren Ross, in partnership, to form Ross & Lenthall Pty Ltd.

In 2003, Stuart Lenthall bought out Warren Ross.

In 2003, the name was changed to Tax Counter Pty Ltd.

In December 2018, the practice was sold to Triple Sapient Pty Ltd, trading as Parker Accounting & Financial Services Pty Ltd.

Currently has Stuart Lenthall as the Registered Tax Agent, Kevin Reilly as the registered BAS Agent, Arthur Xu Director, and Silvia Li as the Administrator.
